AHHHH!!! Finally! I went nuts on those 2 hits by Womack and Gonzalez. And both against Rivera, the supposed best in the business. Sweet Lord my prayers have been answered.

NOTE:
I really don't know why I'm so happy at a team's downfall. I don't even really like the Diamondbacks. I just never liked the Yankees and was thoroughly sick of their bandwagon. Now these people know what it's like to be a Met fan, in some respects. Carry on now. Off to hockey.

last night my mother went out and rang the old bell(that supposedly my great-great-uncles stole from a firehouse somewhere) that we have on our lawn after the yankees lost. she then said "see what i've been reduced to as a red sox fan?"

i strongly dislike baseball.

after watching the new york friar's club roast of hugh hefner, i changed a few channels and saw the teams coming out for the 9th inning, so i watched it. i watched the last inning of the 7th game, and it came down to that last play. perfect. the diamondbacks seemed unnaturally calm when they stepped up to bat in the bottom of the 9th. i guess it paid off.
