okay.. here's the deal. i wake up today, and shit's just going good. then i check my mail. OH! here's my tax return! they did that pretty quick, i only sent it in about 10 days ago.hmmm... those numbers seem rather weird... lemme look... ummm... oh shit... your taxable income is $361067
tax on taxable income $157081
medicare levy $ 5416
PAYG withholding CR $ 6301
bal of this assessment $156196 I OWE THE TAX DEPARTMENT $156196.45!!!! WHAT THE FUCK!!!!!!!!!! now... bear in mind that i ACTUALLY earnt $34000 (rounded up) last year. so where they got my taxable income figure from i have no idea. i rang them up, they said "oh shit, we're very sorry for that" damn straight.
