Gas prices rising up? It means that sooner or later people will use less gas : good for environment. Economy crumbling down? It means that sooner or later the gap between the US and other countries (even third world countries) will be bridged. Fair enough to me!

that's the freaking huge deal : americans don't see the rest of the world at all and the rest of the world just sees eye to... butt. No leader since Staline has been hated like Bush is. From a very long distance view, I personaly think that Kerry and Bush would have had [almost] the same policies. Though, this election will just fuel the tank of resentment and give even more martyr-wannabees to the terrorsit troops. That is sad. Now even in Europe, some activists are ready to go past the line. What have you done?

I watched TV. A bunch of it, it was okay I guess. I really didnt think it would turn out this way, but then again, I'm stupid.Apparently, I guess you are right, most (majority?) of America doesn't care. I guess. Or maybe they just feel Bush was a better choice? Like you said, both canidates were "SIMILAR" I suppose. Though Kerry is on the very LEFT of his party and Bush is on the RIGHT, I dont know how their policies would have diverged though. According to the news (which doesnt mean MUCH), they said the large turnout in voters from Bush was from the LARGE group of white-christian voters who normally sit at home. I wonder if the US of A will someday be split into two countries, with the West Coast/North-East being Liberal US and the rest being Conservative US. Even in California, if you go county by county, the Los Angeles area is Blue (democrat) and the San Francisco area is blue, but the rest is mostly red. Of course most people are jammed into LA and SF, but I wonder as people move outwards, what will happen? Humm. Oh well, 4 more years (of death, mayhem and distruction! the news is fun again!)
