small? yeah right.
i saw the get up kids about a year and a half ago. it was a boring boring show and i couldn't wait for it to end. their last two albums have been awful anyway. i liked their earlier stuff, but i haven't listened to it for a really long time (probably since a few months before i saw them). i don't know if i'd still like them or not.

his voice sounds too changed. i had the new album on mp3s and kinda liked it. then i heard the acoustic i'll catch you and couldn't believe how different matt sounds. old stuff is way better.
are the shows a mix of old and new? i want to go assuming i find some folks to come with me.

Not to rub it in, but they played alot of older songs at the Chicago show. I guess they have like 40 songs they are using on tour, and they randomly pick which ones they play every night.
heres the full set from the metro;
1. Coming Clean 2. Holiday 3. Man of Conviction 4. The One You Want 5. Stay Gone 6. Up on the Roof 7. Never Be Alone 8. Woodson 9. Martyr Me 10. Mass Pike 11. In Your Sea 12. Red Letter Day 13. No Love 14. Fall From Grace 15. I'll Catch You 16. Sick in her Skin 17. Anne Arbour 18. Action & Action 19. Don't Hate Me Wood Block intro to... 20. Conversation Encore 21. Is There a Way Out 22. Close to Me 23. Ten Minutes

I missed that small band when they toured Europe 2 years ago. Darn it.
