So, i know we have a thread about gift ideas, but what is on YOUR list this year?

Personally, i just want some clothes, perfume...books....and some DVDs such as - Interview With The Vampire, Almost Famous, High Fidelity, Donnie Brasco, Goodfellas, Two Towers...etc...
Thats pretty much all that is on my list....

19" computer monitor and a nice chair for my room.

I already got them, and they are in my room. I just need to order the actual computer. Other than the monitor and chair, I'll probably just get money for college or insurance.

Dude, is that the same bed where he fucked that really homely chick?

Didn't mean to conjure worse images...really I didn't.

Anyway...I don't really have a "wants" list...I kinda get everything I want as I want it anyway...I'm spoiled...I do need a new watch though...mine broke...

AFAIK, Mrs. Munkey is just giving me some token stuff that I had to pass up buying during the course of this year...a game for my PS2, a couple of t-shirts, a calendar...that kind of stuff...all the really big ticket items that she allowed me to get over the course of the year more than make up for it...she rocks.

  • ipod (which i'm getting)
  • macro lens for my slr (which i THINK i'm getting)
  • cd changer for my car (definitely not getting)
  • dvds, since i only have maybe 10 (might get some...)
  • bras (i better get these, it's kind of an essential)
  • these really incredibly hot shoes (which my Matthew has gotten me because he ROCKS!)
  • digital camera (definitely not getting)
  • digital camcorder (definitely not getting)
  • anything from my friends that shows some thought was put into it... not just like a gift set from bath and body works or something

i'm so excited about the ipod, lens, and shoes... eeee!
these are the shoes:

i feel all sexylike in them.

There's only three I want:

1)A new cordless phone for my room (my old one is starting to go)

2) icleaner for my ipod. I got some major scratched to fix.

3) iskin for my ipod. Once I fix the scratches on my ipod then I won't scratch it again.

I pretty much don't have my heart set on anything big because I know I won't get so what's the point.

Oh by the way anyone have any good ides for what to do in New York? I'm going there for eight days, including Christmas. I'm already, seeing two broadway shows, and a hockey game.

Hm. Everyone seems to want an iPod. If I ever had one.. I'd somehow fuck it up by dropping it or being careless and someone stealing it. It's a good thing I don't have one.

All I want this Christmas is the Outkast CD.

Speakerboxxx/The Love Below is so good.

Outkast is one of the best genre defying/defining groups out there right now...especially in hip hop which seems to be stuck in the whole gangsta/bling-bling cliche...the mainstream is especially crappy...

don't worry lycia, i am equally boring.

i want a good pair of insulated winter riding boots, the mountain horse kind. i had a pair of those puffy on course ones that i outgrew and i didn't like 'em much.

i also want enough pairs of warm socks to build a house out of, and a few more pairs of long underwear. oh and more gloves.

other than that, just books & music i guess.

hahah isnt it funny how when you own a horse getting things like long underwear and warm socks for christmas is REALLY great?!

I got a pair of fleeced lined long underwear at fleet farm and they are GREAT. I actually get a little sweaty when I'm riding outside in 10 degree weather!

the weird thing is, i HATE fleece. static electricity makes me so grumpy. and wool makes me itch. so i'm kind of limited on my warm clothes choices. but yeah...as for riding outside in 10 degree weather...there's a reason why god invented indoor arenas! you poor thing! i'm spoiled...the barns at school are heated to 50 degrees. i appreciate it, but at the same time i know it's so bad because they close all the doors and crank up the heat and all the horses get coughs. gee, i wonder why.

the barns i keep my horses at though are definately not heated.

i have been so spoiled the past 7 years...beautiful indoor heated arena. with a warm lounge to go into and drink hot chocolate when you are done.

and now I come up to the frozen tundra that is morris where the barn doesnt even have a door that closes and the arena is on the prairie..

i wish i could be wrapped in thinsulate and sleep in a pile of pine shavings.
