there isn't much going on around here, so i've got something to hopefully fulfil about fifteen seconds of your time.

http://tools.oxygen.com/babynamer/

my name is jeremy tyler simon. "jeremy" means "exalted by god" and tyler means "a worker in roof-tiles."

so, that sort of means i'm a "worker in roof-tiles exalted by god."

how about you?

Marie means "Wished-for child"

kind of cool I guess.

I was amazed to find the name my sister likes to throw at me in the drawbacks section... "Kimbo Bimbo".

I call her Kelly Smelly though, so it's all good.

Ann means "favored grace".

So technically my name is "Spear Favored Grace"? hmmm...

Christey. Christi. Christie. Chrystie. Cristi. Cristie. Cristy. Khristie. Khristy. Kristey. Kristi. Kristie. Kristy. Krystee. Krystie. Krysty.

Growing up I had nicknames like Krusty the Clown (even my physics teacher said that one!), Crispy and Christy Kremes. Jooooy.

Oh and I thought we were finally going to find out what RJ stood for...No such luck!
Well, there are a lot of nasty things that kids rhymed with Jody. But, my cousins used to call me "Jody Jean the Jelly Bean Queen".

You're right RJ. But that's a too big secret for me to keep, so it's time for me to spit the bean.
RJ... or may I say Ramon Jose

And this babynamer site sucks. It's says David means beloved. Seriously, I would have got aware of that if it was true. And to cap it all, my middle name, stéphane is only a girl name, short for stephanie.
Maybe I'm like Glen or Glenda

if I remember correctly, there's some info in the about section about them, but anyway... they were part of some travelling art thing. they were placed in front of the town hall here for about a month, but then they moved on to somewhere else.

I don't remember the name of the artist guy though, sorry

oh, man...i already knew what my names meant, since i end up having to explain them to people anyways when they ask my whole name...they're all greek. (even the name that didn't come from the greek side of the family!) but it was cool seeing all the "perceptions" under my first name...like "all the people named melissa that i know are mean-spirited" and stuff. and how other people named melissa apparently *love* being called mel or missy. my english teacher tried to call me mel this past week and i gave him A Look. ugh. i don't mind missa, though.

but as for meanings - melissa means honey or bee, aphrodite is the ancient greek goddess of love (also my great-great-grandmother, but i'm assuming they are not the same ) and cynthia means something to do with the moon. melissa aphrodite cynthia.

if i ever have kids i'm going to give them the most horrendous names possible just to pass on the legacy. grrrrr.
