So, my cat died last week. I am still devastated. I had him for 10 years (got him when he was 4 weeks old). It was crazy because he was totally acting his usual self and healthy, as far as I could tel--I woke up and gave him a drink of water in the tub and then I took a shower. Less than 10 minutes later and I came down stairs to find him dead on the living room rug. I miss my baby.

Lastly, I went to my 10 year reunion on Saturday. God did that suck. How is everyone else?

...my condolences.

Sorry to hear that the reunion wasn't what you had hoped either...luckily I opted out of mine...with no regrets ...

In other news, Caitlyn will be six months old on Sunday...she answers our questions with coos, growls, and squeals, she's starting on solid food, she inchworms and rolls her way across the floor, she's nearly sitting by herself now and she's getting huge!...I knew I couldn't keep her little forever, but I didn't know exactly how fas she'd grow either!...this can only mean one thing...

I'm getting old.

i would cry alot if my cat died. i tell my cat that i hate him, but i don't really mean it.

my cat almost died not too long ago. she was really sick and stopped eating. she weighed like 9 pounds. then she got better, it was weird. but i don't care that much cause she's not MY cat... she's just turned into the other cat in the house. it would be worse if my cat died because she's crazy and fun to play around with.

your cat must have been my grandma's soulmate so cuz she passed away 10 days ago too. She was 83. I had her for...well...all my life.

I'm sorry for your loss. I don't know what losing a pet feels like but I know what it's like losing a good friend.

i cried when my cat died! i'd had her all my life, i think she was 16 when she died. but i think it was best because she was very old and in pain.

in other news, i, like daniel, need a new job. i am getting rather poor, and it's nearly summer.

i cried before my cat died...didn't cry much after he did, probably cuz i did so much before he died (he was put to sleep, so we knew it was coming)...felt like i was losing a brother, he'd been in the family longer than me.

i had a little kitten once, actually my mom had the kitten, i was out of the house already, but i helped pick the kitten out. anyway i was playing with it one afternoon when i came home to visit and it was its normal playful self and kept jumping in and out of my laundry basket and being a general pain but a loveable pain. anyway we had relatives over that day and we ate dinner and after dinner we found the kitten in a corner barely moving. no one could figure out what happened to him, he died that night. we lated only assume he might have crawed under our 'laz-e-boy' and gotten crushed when someone sat down and rocked back and forth. he was really little and could fit under there without anyone seeing him. very sad.

after that i had to drive home to santa barbara and for some reason i was in a =weezer= mood and listened to the pink album and when the song 'butterfly' came on the radio i busted up in tears. it was really sad. so yeah, dont listen to that song. okbye.

Jody, I am sorry to hear about the death of your cat. Sincerely. Pets are family members, and it can be very traumatic.

I am also sad to hear the reunion bit he dick. I skipped mine as well, based entirely upon my desire to see NO ONE I graduated with. No regrets.

I am fine right now, battling love as an emotion and failing miserably. I have become a shadow of the bitter mysogonist I once was. Kind of sad, but at the same time I am happier than anyone on the planet.

Yeah, I don't know why I forgot that I hated high school and most of the people in it. A friend had convinced me that I should go--he went to his and even though he hated high school, everyone was really cool at the reunion and it was a lot of fun. Mine, on the other hand, was not a lot of fun and I was just reminded how insecure I felt 10 years ago. I thought maybe people would be a little more,I don't know, mature or something, but it was the same old shit. Oh well. It was an "experience".
