does anyone know a good site or service where i can download full movies (in avi or mpg format preferably) for free? i've been trying morpheus and those other gnutella-based networks but i can't keep a connection with anyone at a reasonable speed to download a 600mb+ file.

full movies in avi ? are you kidding ?
even in mpeg it's a lot !
morpheus is working well I guess, maybe you should check your connection.

get a program called Forte Free Agent. its like a group of newsgroups and stuff and you can download files off of the and theres a lof of movies on it. my friend gets full movies off it it all the time

haha shut up. i think porn is about the easiest thing to get on the internet. i'm just trying to find movies so i can watch them to see if i want to buy them on dvd or whatever. i'm just too cheap to pay like $3 and rent one.

Everyone shares crazy amounts of stuff on there. Doesnt have the multiple downloads of the same file that morpheus/kazaa give you, but usually the speeds are pretty good.

IRC is good as well
