I don't know if anyone's really heard about it.. but on Monday or so, some scientists have been finding some CRAZY new species of sea animals in the Tasman Sea (near Austrailia/ New Zealand.) They've been keeping a log and some photos and descriptions of what they have been finding, and its pretty damn interesting. Plus, the describe everything like a normal person would (with a hint of science), so it makes it much cooler to read.http://www.oceans.gov.au/norfanz/ I love these deep-sea fish stories as much as I love Giant Squid stories. My personal favorite so far is the Jewel Squid just because they have "wonky eyes." I have no idea what "wonky" is, but it's my new favorite word! Wee! --Christy Edit: Animal pictures/ descriptions are in the Creature Feature section. [ July 01, 2003: Message edited by: Christy ]
